John, last night we heard President Biden commit himself to lifesaving gun violence prevention measures – and it couldn’t come at a more important time.

Ever since my daughter, Jaime, was murdered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018, the annual State of the Union speech has taken on a new level of importance to me. I even attended one of the addresses while Donald Trump was president, so trust me when I say: How a president talks about gun violence in this speech tells you an enormous amount about what we can expect them to do about it.

President Biden named the key actions we need – the ones that Brady has been fighting for – like regulating ghost guns and expanding background checks. And this is expanding on the executive actions he has already taken to stop community violence and bolster the ATF – but I know with more certainty than ever that we can't slow down now. Brady has been working overtime to push for life-saving legislation we can get on President Biden's desk and trust him to sign. But they need our support to afford this massive push, and right now, they're falling short.

So I have to ask: Before midnight tonight, will you donate $5 or more to help Brady keep fighting for gun violence prevention laws and demanding the kind of action President Biden promised in his address?

We know the NRA and their puppets in Congress will spend MILLIONS to halt all of the progress President Biden called for. That's why Brady needs all the help they can get, and why they need it sooner rather than later.

It’s not just President Biden’s remarks I trust, it’s who he is as a man. When Jaime was murdered, Joe Biden was one of the first people to reach out to me. I may never be able to hold my daughter again, hear her laughter, watch her beautiful dancing, or walk her down the aisle… But I can fight to put bills on President Biden's desk that will save kids like Jaime. So I'll do whatever it takes to make that happen — and I'm asking you to join me.

Brady needs to raise another $11,008 by midnight tonight, and we need you to help them do it. Please, if you care about holding President Biden to the promises he made about gun violence prevention last night, chip in $5 or whatever you can now.
