Our campaign has a bit of an issue right now, and we were hoping to ask you for help.

Over the past few weeks, almost all of my time has been dedicated to fighting for progressive values and legislation. Recently, I introduced a new bill: the State-Based Universal Health Care Act.

It would be an incredible first step towards expanding health care coverage in the country, and showing people that a universal system is not just possible — but the best pathway to ensuring every single American can get health care.

Alongside that, I’ve been traveling the nation — mostly recently New Hampshire — to help elect Bernie Sanders as the next President of the United States. With just 80 days until the Iowa Caucuses, now is the time where we need to fight the hardest.

As all of that has been happening, our fundraising has slowed down. We’re behind by about 7,021 donations of where we were in October. Can we count on your $3 gift to help us pick up the pace?

When we fall behind, there’s no massive corporate PAC that will swoop in to help us. From day one, I knew that that wasn’t how we wanted to run a campaign.

It’s a sacrifice, yes. But one that helps us keep our core values, fight unapologetically for working-people, and speak truth to power.

But we still need to try and make up the gap. A new Republican challenger recently declared that he’s challenging us for this seat, and they won’t play by the same rules — they’re fine with corporate PAC money, billionaire donations, and who knows what else.

I know this is a lot to ask, but I wouldn’t be asking if it weren’t important. Can you help us build a powerful movement, and meet our midmonth goal by sending your $3 gift in before midnight tonight?

I will never stop fighting for the progressive values that unite us. I hope you won’t either.

In solidarity,
