Last week, President Joe Biden made history by nominating Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Black women have always been at the forefront of fighting for a more just democracy. And after this announcement, that forefront will expand to the Supreme Court.

However, our work is just beginning. We need all hands on deck to make sure Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination is confirmed immediately.

So for the moment, our focus turns to the Senate. We know Mitch McConnell has no issue with blocking our nominees. So we have to act now and act quickly before the imbalance on the Supreme Court is cemented for generations.
