Friends,As we transition from Black History Month to Women’s History Month, it feels fitting that we get to celebrate the nomination of our nation’s first Black woman to the Supreme Court. It’s a moment that so many of us have been waiting for so long to see.

President Biden couldn’t have chosen a better candidate than Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. She is a Harvard graduate, a former clerk to Justice Breyer, whose seat she will fill, and her extensive experience serving on the district court and now a judge on the D.C. Court of Appeals. I know that Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is eminently qualified to serve on our nation’s highest court and will make a great, historic addition to the U.S. Supreme Court!

Will you add your name now urging the Senate to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson? [[link removed]]

SIGN THE PETITION [[link removed]]The judges on the Supreme Court weigh some of the essential issues facing Marylanders. Whether it’s healthcare, voting rights, reproductive freedom, or gun safety, the people who serve on this court will have a hand in it all — and we need to make sure the people serving on the highest court in our land are representative of who we are as a country.

As Attorney General, I’d be honored to present Maryland’s cases before Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson and the other Justices on the Supreme Court.

Please add your name to this petition today and call on the Senate to swiftly lead the confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson! [[link removed]]

This is history! Let’s make some more,
