Last night, Joe Biden laid out his priorities in his State of the Union address, and Susan Collins said no to lowering prescription drug costs.

President Biden announced a plan to let Medicare negotiate prescription costs, but all Susan Collins could do was shake her head. Families across Maine are struggling to manage health care costs, but Collins is still putting Big Pharma before her own constituents.

We can’t count on GOP politicians like Collins to lower our health care costs when pharmaceutical companies help fund their campaigns. Help fund our grassroots movement with a donation of $5, $10, $20.22, $50, $100 or whatever you can to elect Democrats and STOP politicians like Susan Collins.

Not only did she find the idea of affordable health care laughable, but so did her buddy, Republican obstructionist and Trump apologist Sen. Tom Cotton, who just this week refused to condemn Trump’s praise of Putin.

It’s no surprise that Susan Collins doesn’t want to lower drug costs. It could cut into some of the $500k in donations she’s accepted from Big Pharma companies. We cannot allow Susan Collins to turn her backs on Mainers suffering from medical debt just so she can play politics in Washington. We need to hold her accountable and do everything we can to defeat her when the time comes.
