I want to begin by acknowledging the tragedy in Ukraine. My family traces our roots to Eastern Europe, and it hits home to see our neighbors embroiled in conflict. We fled to America in order to escape the political violence of Communism. I extend my solidarity to the Ukrainian people and my prayers are with them.
February was a busy month in the Attorney General’s office and on the campaign trail. Last Wednesday, I had the privilege to defend the Public Charge Rule in oral arguments before the Supreme Court of the United States. While other candidates posture for attention, I am the only one fighting back against the Biden administration’s destructive agenda head first.
In February, I fought for veterans rights, fought to strike down the Biden administration’s illegal minimum wage hike, and most recently argued before the SCOTUS to defend a sound, internationally normal, century-long immigration policy that requires non-citizens to be able to support themselves without being a burden on public resources designed to protect Americans in need. See my Op-Ed on this argument HERE.
As your Attorney General and a lifelong Arizonan, I’m committed to protecting YOU. The United States is a land full of opportunity because we remain steadfast in our commitment to the rule of law. Lawlessness has overwhelmed our Southern border and has put our way of life at risk. In January alone, Customs and Border Patrol saw “a substantial increase of fentanyl interdictions” and 154,000 illegal migrants were encountered at our Southern border (almost twice as many as January of last year). Every month, the Left sends Washington out of control and Biden turns a blind eye as narcotics and human smuggling flood across our border. I’m running for the Senate on the same philosophy I live by every day at the AG’s office: uphold the rule of law, protect Arizonans, and secure American opportunity.
To qualify for the ballot I need to collect 7,387 signatures and we are just four weeks away from the deadline. It's free and only takes a minute. Would you send this online nominating petition link to at least one family member or friend?
