John:
When they're not busy legislating trans kids out of classrooms and doctors' offices or removing LGBTQ-positive books from libraries, bigots spend their time running their mouths. And they have a lot to say!
Here's some of the anti-LGBTQ attacks we're tracking:
"What exactly are our values? And what is the cost? Now we can't answer the first question with any precision, but we're pretty certain it has something to do with trans rights - how could it not?"
Tucker Carlson, blaming LGBTQ issues for Russia’s attacks on Ukraine
"His whole marriage to Marlon was supposed to be part of his reelection campaign in Colorado... And they never even kissed at their wedding. It’s all a sham. I really want to put him in a jail cell."
Governor Jared Polis's opponent, Danielle Neuschwanger
"We have an agenda that is part of the curriculum, that is, I believe, social engineering."
Sponsor of the Florida Senate's 'Don't Say Gay bill, Dennis Baxley
From accusing America's only gay governor of being a fake gay person to blaming Russia's invasion of Ukraine on LGBTQ inclusion, the bigotry just gets more outlandish.
And the consequences are all too real. We see the impact of their hatred in states legislatures in Florida, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Minnesota. We see it on the campaign trail, when LGBTQ candidates are counted out because being out and proud is 'too controversial'.
Bigots like these have done their best to vilify LGBTQ people - but we're still fighting back. Victory Fund has already endorsed over 200 LGBTQ candidates, and it's only March! Chip in to stand against this outrageous language - and help LGBTQ candidates win!
The rainbow wave is stronger than ever - no matter what Tucker Carlson says. And these amazing candidates CAN win, with your help. Pitch in today!
Thanks for chipping in,
LGBTQ Victory Fund
