I’m pleased to share the news with you that after two years of campaigning by Animal Outlook and Vegan Outreach, and with you by our side, IHOP is testing its first vegan breakfast sandwich.

Because of you, and tens of thousands of other Animal Outlook supporters, IHOP has responded to our calls for action. Whether you signed the petition, called their corporate offices or asked them for vegan options on social media, your voice was heard and your actions have made a difference. Thank you for making this possible.

The sandwich, dubbed the Plant-Based Cali and made with Just Egg and Sweet Earth vegan sausage, is currently only available at one Flip’d by IHOP location in New York City, but we hope it will soon be available across the country.

This is not the only victory you’ve helped achieve. Your support has helped us convince other national companies to either introduce vegan products to their lines or reduce their use of animal ingredients. More recent wins include Tyson ([link removed]) removing all animal products from their Raised & Rooted line, Starbucks ([link removed]) introducing an all vegan menu item and McDonald’s ([link removed]) introducing its meatless McPlant line.

While these wins are amazing and progress is being made, there is still more work to do. Will you continue to stand with us as we work to push for change to reduce suffering, eliminate animal ingredients and mainstream the availability of plant-based options? ([link removed])
