Help us raise the roof by donating a designer handbag or other items for the Diva Bag Auction

The “Diva Bag Auction ([link removed]) ” is an interactive giving event started in 2005, where supporters donate a new or like-new handbag that is auctioned to raise funds for Girls For A Change (GFAC) programs. This year’s auction will raise funds for our One Million Reasons to Build campaign ([link removed]) to purchase and remodel our Chesterfield Branch in order to serve more girls in the Richmond Region.

We're reaching out to the community to ask for your support and/or connections so that we can raise $350,000 from the auction in order to unlock matching funds from another donor.

* Donate a bag: Donate a like-new luxury or handcrafted handbag OR a well-kept vintage bag. Donate here ([link removed]) .
* Help us fill a bag: Help us enhance the auction experience by donating items like trips, jewelry, luxury products, dinners, experiences, theater tickets, spa packages, etc. to go in our bags. Donate here ([link removed]) .
* Become a sponsor: Help us reach our goal by sponsoring our famous “Diva Bag Auction,” an event that draws celebrity support and 750+ attendees. View our sponsorship deck ([link removed]) .

This year’s Diva Bag Auction will be held online and its auctioneers will be GFAC celebrity supporters like Erica Ash ([link removed]) , Actress Lindsey Blackwell ([link removed]) , Actor Chad L. Coleman ([link removed]) , Actress Jodi Turner-Smith ([link removed]) , and more. Donors will not only be helping a Black, woman-owned nonprofit gain equity through ownership (read the article in the Richmond Times-Dispatch ([link removed]) ), their handbag and/or items will be promoted by a celebrity! Donors and sponsors will also get an invite to the GFAC Recording Party in LA at blackbird.house ([link removed]) in April.

The auction will take place online in May with an expected audience of 750,000. Additionally, donors will be promoted through Girls For A Change digital channels and press contacts.
