Welcome to the first day of Women's History Month! This month, we commemorate and celebrate the important role of women in American history.

We’ll keep you updated about Women’s History Month events that take place throughout the month.

This month, MCYD will also host our first in-person event of 2022. We hope you’ll join us for our St. Patrick’s Day Happy Hour on Thursday, March 17th at 7 PM. Sign up here ([link removed]) to join us.

In this newsletter, we’ll have more information about our Happy Hour, details about our February MCYD meeting, and more events that we encourage you to attend.

St. Patrick’s Day Happy Hour
Join us this St. Patrick’s Day, March 17 for our first in-person gathering of 2022! This will be a free Happy Hour at the MCDC Morristown office.
There is no cost to attend this event, but we ask for a suggested contribution of $10 if you can. We’ll provide beer (for those who are of age) and snacks.

MCYD March Meeting

Please join us for our February meeting on Thursday, March 10 at 7pm ET! Elliot Schneier, the Political Director of the Morris County Democrats, will be our special guest and will give us an overview of the MCDC’s 2022 strategy. Morris County High School Democrats Meeting

The Morris County High School Democrats will be holding their first meeting this Friday, March 4 at 6:00 PM. If you are a high schooler interested in getting more involved, you can join that meeting here ([link removed]) .

Mount Arlington Democrats Youth Engagement Meeting

On Monday, March 14 at 7:00 PM, MCYD Political Director and Dover Alderman Adrian Ballesteros will be speaking at the Mount Arlington Democratic Committee’s meeting. He will focus on the importance of getting young people engaged in politics. Learn more about how to join that meeting here ([link removed]) .

MCDC Comedy and Cocktails Event

The Morris County Democratic Committee is hosting a Comedy and Cocktails fundraiser on Friday, March 11 at 7 PM at the Morristown Freemasons Lodge. The event will feature live comedy with America’s Got Talent Quarter-Finalist Julia Scotti. Sign up for that event here ([link removed]) .
