Friend,

Tonight, President Joe Biden will address the nation for his first State of the Union as our president. We know that immigration is an important issue facing tens of millions of Americans across the country.

While we have been disappointed with the gridlock in Congress, there is still a path to get immigration relief accomplished.

The State of the Union address is our chance to share immigrant stories to remind President Biden and Congress that they still have the opportunity to use a legislative process known as reconciliation to fulfill their promises on immigration.

So we want you to meet Javier, a DACA recipient and frontline health care worker who has helped us fight the COVID-19 pandemic as a registered nurse in Texas.

Watch and share Javier’s story with your network now. → [link removed]

As Javier states in his story, millions of immigrants are frontline essential workers who have risked their lives for our communities throughout the pandemic — and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and ultimately be given the opportunity to get immigration relief.

Together, we can amplify Javier’s story ahead of the State of the Union and remind Congress that they can still give immigrants and DACA recipients the opportunity they have earned to continue being productive members of our country.

So please, click here to watch Javier’s story and share with your network today. Let’s make sure that Congress and President Biden know they still have the opportunity to make a difference for millions of immigrants, like Javier.

We won’t give up until permanent immigration protections become a reality, and we know you won’t either.

Thank you,
FWD.us Team
