Massive news, John — this past weekend, Donald Trump announced that he’s planning on running for president again in 2024.

That’s setting up a contest in our opponents’ GOP primary: The Republican who declares they’ll do anything — even overturn the will of the voters — to help Trump win the presidency will get the “coveted” endorsement from Trump.

John, Trump’s decision to run again is a danger to our democracy — not only in Pennsylvania, but across the entire nation. Will you chip in any amount today to help make sure a Republican doesn’t win this Governor’s race?

You might think I’m exaggerating, John, but I’m not. Two GOP candidates for Governor signed fake electoral certificates in a failed attempt to overturn the 2020 election.

Even after that news broke, one of those candidates doubled down — saying he doesn’t regret his actions and that it was “important” that Pennsylvania had alternate electors.

Now I don’t need to tell you how wrong that is — but what I want to make clear is that Republicans aren’t just spreading Trump’s Big Lie — they’re taking dangerous, undemocratic action to try and make it come true.

And you can bet they’ll try to do it again in 2024 if they win this race for Governor.
