We’re up against a lot here in Nevada: nine MAGA opponents, millions of dollars in GOP spending, and a national political climate that — let’s be honest — is looking a lot tougher than the one Democrats faced in 2018.

But I am so proud of the way this team rose to the challenge over the last week. When my team and I reached out and warned that we were in danger of falling behind critical fundraising benchmarks, this team pitched in and helped us close the gap.

So I want to take a moment to say thank you, folks. Thank you to everyone who stepped up and chipped in a few hard-earned dollars for this fight to keep Nevada blue. Thank you to everyone who has forwarded these emails to friends, or supported our campaign on social media.

We’ve got a long way to go in this race, and every single analyst agrees — it’s going to be really close. The outcome is going to come down to what campaign digs deepest, hustles the fastest, and works the hardest.

Throughout my life, Team, I’ve learned that nothing worthwhile ever comes easy — and, as if we needed the reminder, the last three years have driven that lesson home for us all.

Here in Nevada, we’ve been resilient in the face of everything this pandemic has thrown at us — while fighting for voting rights, labor protections, access to affordable health care, strong public education, and an economy that gives working Nevadans the opportunity to thrive.

Now, we’re in a fight to protect that progress against far-right Republicans, who are targeting Nevada with everything they’ve got. Victory won’t come easy, but with this incredible grassroots team, I know we can overcome any challenge that comes our way.
