When accused criminal Donald Trump occupied the oval office, once a year, in between blocking critical weapons sales to Ukraine, siding with Vladamir Putin over US intelligence, and inciting a violent insurrection against America, he would go before Congress and use the State of the Union to spread hate, attack the vulnerable, and undermine democracy.
In 2019, I successfully led an impeachment process in Congress -- even though the Republicans in the Senate betrayed their oath of office by not convicting and removing Trump.
Thanks to your hard work in 2020, that man is no longer in office, and President Biden will be giving the speech tonight.

With President Trump openly spreading Russian propaganda, it's more critical than ever that we stand together to defend our democracy.
It's time to organize to show and prove in 2022 that those of us who believe in equality and justice are, in fact, the majority--and our voices are stronger than the voices of those who marshall hatred and ignorance for political advantage.
