The latest news around vaping has been pretty bleak to say the least. So far, there have been more than 30 vaping-related deaths and over 1,400 severe lung illnesses reported and counting. And there's still so much we don't know about how vaping ultimately affects our health.

Needless to say, we have enough reasons to be super skeptical of vaping products right now. But on top of all this, vaping could actually be pretty harmful to the environment. JUUL currently doesn't offer a recycling program for its signature single-use plastic pods. Plus, littered e-cig cartridges and pods can leak heavy metals and residual nicotine into the environment.

Even our trash monster pals think that's unacceptable.
