Next Friday, March 11, the government will run out of funding.
For too long our lawmakers have been kicking the can down the road when it comes to fully funding our government. For the third time since October 1, 2021, Congress has pushed off its duty to fund the federal government. This approach means there is no new money for program improvements and additional hires so vital to our Defense Department personnel and to many agencies affected by new investments in the recently enacted infrastructure package.
Please contact your lawmakers and tell them we can’t run the country on a year-long CR.
We need full appropriations passage before the CR runs out on March 11.
