At 7pm tonight, the West Virginia Mine Wars Museum is welcoming Kim Kelly and Haeden Wright to Season 3 of Mine Wars Forum.
Join the West Virginia Mine Wars Museum on March 1st, at 7pm for episode 3, season 3 of the Mine Wars Forum, where their director Kenzie New-Walker will chat with Kim Kelly & Haeden Wright about the long-standing Alabama coal miner's strike, the importance of women's roles in these strikes, UMWA rallies in NYC, Kim's book titled 'Fight Like Hell' that will be published soon, and much more.
Haeden Wright is a high school teacher, UMWA auxiliary locals #2368/#2245 President, union supporter, and is currently running for Alabama Democratic Executive Committee District 49. Kim Kelly is a freelance journalist and organizer based in Philadelphia. She is also the author of 'Fight Like Hell', an upcoming book written by her about intersectional labor history. The WV Mine Wars Museum is very grateful to have these wonderful folks joining!
