[1]Women's March

John,

Last night, the Senate held an opening vote on the Women’s Health
Protection Act — a historic bill which would protect access to abortion
even if the Supreme Court overrules Roe v. Wade. It was swiftly blocked by
the GOP.

As long as the Senate allows the filibuster to exist — the urgent policies
women and families need to protect our reproductive freedom will never be
passed.

If Senate Democrats want to show us they stand with women, they won’t
allow the filibuster to waste our only shot at enshrining the right to
abortion into federal law. Instead, they’d kill the filibuster so that we
can pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and so many other bills we’ve
already passed in the House that would grant immediate and much-needed
relief for working families and women in our country.

Our democracy cannot be allowed to remain in the hands of Mitch McConnell
and his years-long legacy of obstruction — and now we're coming to you
because we urgently need your help to turn up the pressure. [ [link removed] ]Please rush
an emergency $5 donation to Women's March to support our
advocacy work to abolish the filibuster, end McConnell's stranglehold on
the Senate, and fight tirelessly for our feminist priorities.

We’re not going to beat around the bush,
John.

Women’s Marchers all across the country organized tirelessly to help win
the White House AND both chambers of Congress — and together, we did it.

We refuse to let our hard work go to waste because the GOP and
conservative Democrats like Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin refuse to
abolish the filibuster — effectively blocking our chances of passing the
Women’s Health Protection Act or any part of Biden’s agenda.

Now that Democrats control the White House, Senate, and the House, we have
a rare and important opportunity to pass bold action on issues we care
about, like abortion access, climate justice, racial justice, expanding
voting rights, and more. But building our feminist future can't happen
with the obstructionist filibuster in the way, so we must abolish it once
and for all.

[ [link removed] ]Will you make a donation right now to Women’s March to help power our
organizing efforts to abolish the filibuster and protect abortion access
from the wave of attacks we’re facing right now? We need to send a loud
and clear message that Women’s Marchers are watching the Senate and we
will not let our hard work be trampled by their political games.

Together,

Women’s March
