President Biden is scheduled to give his first State of the Union address
tonight.
Now, I don’t know what he’s about to say, and I look forward to listening.
But going into tonight, I do know one thing: the State of our current
Union isn’t working for everyone. It’s not working for most, in fact.
[ [link removed] ]That’s the main reason I’m running to represent my Commonwealth in the
U.S. Senate. Will you please chip in $5 to our movement and
help us replace Rand Paul with a working-class champion in the Senate?

Just imagine what President Biden could be saying if we didn’t have
politicians like Rand Paul representing us.
We could be talking about how we passed the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act
and finally made lynching a federal hate crime — legislation that Rand
Paul previously singlehandedly voted down.
We could be talking about how we were able to pass the John Lewis Voting
Rights bill in the Senate, which would have protected voting rights and
access, particularly in marginalized, gerrymandered communities.
We could be talking about how we passed Build Back Better, the Women’s
Health Protection Act, climate action, and so much more.
But politicians like Rand Paul have made it clear that they’ll use the Jim
Crow filibuster to block everything, and that they couldn't care less
about our needs.
Tonight’s State of the Union address
isn’t going to talk about how we’ve done all these things, because we
haven’t — yet.
But you better believe there is momentum on the ground for our movement.
And when I say we are building a movement from the hood to the holler, I
absolutely mean it.
