In this time of deep division, if we truly want to solve the challenges facing our nation, we have to be able to agree on what the issues facing us actually are.
But the coverage we see on Fox News doesn't even closely resemble reality, causing deeper rifts and hyperpartisanship.
Whether it is spreading disinformation and outright lies about the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccines, or the results of the 2020 elections, Fox News' hateful damaging lies are a danger to our democracy.

While this may sound like it’s unrealistic and unattainable, we must remember that Comcast, AT&T, and all cable companies only care about one thing… their bottom line and you can be sure that if enough people speak out against them platforming Fox News, they will listen.
In fact, there are numerous examples of corporations banning people and pages that purposely spread outright lies from just the last few years, including Google permanently banning a Fox News anchor for Covid misinformation, Twitter deplatforming Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Facebook banning Alex Jones and InfoWars for their conspiracy content.
Comcast, Charter, AT&T, and every other cable company can drop FOX too. We just have to stand up and make it happen.

A knowledgeable and informed electorate is essential to a working democracy, and the work of actual journalism is absolutely critical.
We need to spend more time talking in-depth about the issues facing the working people of this country and less time combating Fox News lies about vaccine effectiveness and election results.
Fox News is full of well-paid talking heads who know how to manipulate the system and their viewers.
With our democracy and people's lives on the line, we cannot allow Fox News to continue spreading dangerous conspiracy theories about Covid, election results, or whatever else they will lie about next, stand with DFA as we fight to deplatfrom FOX now.
