JOB OPPORTUNITY: DIRECTOR OF YOUTH JUSTICE

The Sentencing Project is seeking a Director of Youth Justice to advance The Sentencing Project’s policy goals for youth and emerging adults in the justice system. Policy priorities include ending the use of adult criminal sanctions on youth, reducing incarceration of youth, and eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in youth encounters with the legal system. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the nation’s youth justice system, understanding of the emerging line of research on youth development, and demonstrated experience leading successful advocacy campaigns and supervising staff.
