Tonight, President Biden is delivering his first State of the Union address. For people everywhere, but especially Mainers, the Democrats have been delivering with legislation like the American Rescue Plan and the bipartisan infrastructure law.

The benefits for working Maine families are clear: better access to affordable healthcare, more good-paying jobs, and the types of investments that are going to make our infrastructure stronger, greener, and safer.

However, we know there’s more work to be done. From defending reproductive care to protecting our planet and everything in between, we must win in November.

But Maine is a battleground state, and to continue building on our progress, we need to win up and down the ballot. We have to make it clear to voters that Democrats in Augusta and D.C. are fighting and delivering for Mainers.

To make that a reality, we need people like you, John. We’re a people-powered operation which means that to connect with neighbors across the state, we need a strong team of volunteers. If we want to keep Maine and Congress working for us, NOW is the time to get involved.
