After abandoning the majority of his constituents to run in a district in which he does not live for the sake of political opportunism, Western North Carolina voters will have the opportunity to hold Cawthorn accountable for his lack of leadership and dangerous behavior.

We knew that Western North Carolina was ground zero for his attempted extremist takeover of our state, and this only drives home further that we need to be ready to come together and defeat Cawthorn and his toxic brand of politics.
