John,
Our campaign is powered by hometown support — grassroots donors like you.
The same can’t be said for my opponent, who launched his entirely self-financed campaign — giving himself HALF A MILLION DOLLARS — from the comfort of his armchair. He is not out doing events or speaking to voters — he is just writing himself a check.
We are facing a public filing at the end of this month, and that makes having an opponent that is entirely self-funded more concerning. We have a clear plan to ensure that we have what we need for a strong showing at our public filing deadline — but we need to raise $15,000 by the end of the week to stay on track.
And, unlike my opponent and his half-million dollars of self-funding, we’ll be relying on grassroots donors and hard work to get there.
Can I count on you to give $25 to help Team MGS reach our goal?
Now that the district maps have been released, Team MGS is committed to meeting District 5 voters wherever they are. Whether we’re knocking on doors, making phone calls, chatting with neighbors at the Acme, or meeting voters at the local farmers markets, we started this campaign together, and we will win it together.
Contribute now to make sure Team MGS has the resources we need to reach every neighbor and keep fighting for our home.
Thank you for joining me in this fight.
Sincerely,
Mary Gay
P.S. New maps also means we are starting our signature collection campaign to get my name officially back on the ballot! Do you have time to help my team collect signatures? If so, sign up here. If you don’t have a lot of time to volunteer but are willing to sign, you can let us know here.
