As a daughter of immigrants growing up in Queens, I saw firsthand the struggles working New Yorkers face and what policies that lift at the root can do to build a thriving community. Throughout my career, I have advocated for workers’ rights, teaming up with unions and community members to ensure the working people of New York continue to thrive and have their voices heard. 

That is why I am proud to announce that I have received the New York Working Families Party endorsement for my re-election to the New York State Senate. WFP has always stood up for immigrants, workers, and climate change legislation, and I am proud to have them as a partner in this fight.

Today at 5:30 PM, we’ll be kicking off our petitioning with Team Catalina Cruz, Team AOC, and Team Jessica González-Rojas in Jackson Heights. We would love to see you there!
