Hi,

This isn’t your typical environmental action — but these aren’t typical times.

For the past two years, physical gatherings such as cleanups or rallies have been hampered by the pandemic. We’ve had to find new ways to make ourselves heard.

That’s why EARTHDAY‍.ORG is giving you a new way to support the movement: Join our Social Squad! <[link removed]> The Social Squad is our army of supporters who spread the word about our programs and all things Earth Day.

No more than once a week, we’ll email you links to Facebook and Twitter posts we’d like you to Share or Retweet on your own accounts. The more shares and comments we get on our posts, the higher we get on people’s feeds. Your clicks help the environment — really!

With 52 days until the 52nd Earth Day, we’re asking you to join our Social Squad as a special action you can take for the planet. We know that not everyone is comfortable going to in-person events, but you can still be part of the grassroots movement by sharing our content with your networks.

We’re spreading the word on environmental advocacy, emerging climate solutions, toolkits to use, ways to volunteer, new Earth Day Live events, Earth Day updates, and so much more. Sign up for the Social Squad today, and we’ll be in touch with concrete actions that will make a difference. <[link removed]>

We’re counting on you,

Peter Burr
