One of my favorite parts of Big Little Lies is when the school holds a meeting for parents mad that their children are upset after being told the truth about our dire climate crisis.

The truth of that scene, and of this moment in history, is whether we are ready or not, the climate crisis is here. We can’t pretend it will go away.

The science is clear: if we don’t make the necessary changes, every living being on earth will face extinction.

That’s why I went all in to help Our Revolution fight for and win a permanent Climate Crisis Council at the Democratic National Committee.
