I’m proud to announce Take 5 Live with me, Congressman Don Young!

Throughout the rest of the year, I will be answering your randomly selected questions on Facebook Live. Each episode will be focused on a specific topic, and I encourage Alaskans to send in their questions.

I recently announced two initiatives to put pressure on Putin. The first is my Bringing Oligarch Accountability Through Seizure (BOATS) Act, which authorizes the United States federal government to seize yachts and other vessels owned by Russian oligarchs. This is a very difficult time for Europe, and our solidarity with Ukraine must be backed with urgent action against rich Russian oligarchs who continue living lavish lifestyles on mega-yachts, all while their thuggish friend Vladimir Putin reigns terror upon innocent, peaceful Ukrainians. I have also recently introduced legislation to ban the sale of imported Russian seafood, which will undermine Putin even further.

In this uncertain time, I'm sure Alaskans have many questions about these initiatives in addition to the broader situation in Ukraine.
