As we highlighted at the beginning of the year, litigation will play a crucial role in both voting rights and the once-a-decade redistricting process in 2022. Florida’s voter suppression law has already gone to trial and there have been major redistricting decisions in Alaska, North Carolina and Ohio. And that’s only in the first two months!
As we enter March, we’ve got a new piece outlining what to expect in courtrooms across the country this month. Notably, Arkansas and Iowa’s voter suppression laws are on trial and we’re also waiting for updates in several redistricting cases.
