This isn’t the message that we were hoping to share this morning, but we came up short on our February fundraising goals.

No lie. No exaggeration. We came up short, and not by a small amount.

And the problem is, we just can’t afford to miss these goals. Not while National Republicans are spending big to beat us. Not when we started advertising on television this early in the year.

Now, we need to make it up. This month. ESPECIALLY because it’s an FEC fundraising deadline month and when it ends we’re legally required to report our fundraising numbers for the world to see.

We know we send a lot of these emails, but we need to start this year off strong. And we have one day to make up a lot of ground. One day to give it all we have. So PLEASE. Today:
