I wanted to make sure that you saw the below information from Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown regarding the precinct caucuses that will be taking place across Colorado and the 4th Congressional District this week.

I also want to thank you for all the work and effort you've put into our Party. I'm proud to serve as your Congressman and would be honored to once again have your support at the upcoming precinct caucuses and at the 4th Congressional District Assembly in early April.

It's critical that we stand together here in Colorado and continue to fight for our conservative values. This year we have the opportunity to take back the U.S. House of Representatives and ensure that Nancy Pelosi is finally sent into retirement.

Caucus is a local meeting, held every general election year, of registered voters of a major political party. In previous times these meetings were small groups generally held in neighborhoods, today they are typically held in more central locations encompassing larger groups and representing grassroots politics at its most basic level. In Colorado, the process of nominating candidates for elected office begins with the Caucus process.

For now, the focus will be on selecting local party leaders (Precinct Committee Persons) as well as Delegates and Alternates to the County, District, and State Assemblies. If you become a delegate to the county, congressional, or state conventions, you help choose the Republican candidates on our primary ballot. I encourage everyone to get involved and attend their local caucus.
