One final ask, John.

Every month, my team is in your inbox reminding you why it's important to have you on our team. And every month, as the election gets closer, it becomes more and more important that we hit our goals.

But every month, I remind my team that we don't make these asks to simply hit our goals. We make these asks to you because it matters.

It matters to the single mom who can't afford daycare.

It matters to the college grad who is suffocated by their student loans.

It matters to people who are watching their reproductive rights get stripped away.

It matters to you.

So while it's critical that we hit our end-of-month goal, it's about so much more. Right now, I am going to ask you to chip in, but not to hit our end-of-month goal. I want you to chip in because flipping this seat matters to so many people – and to you.

Can I count on you to chip in $5, $10, $15, or whatever you can to this campaign? Every day that I am in this race, I am fighting for the people of this district. And while Mike Garcia courts the donors with the biggest corporate pockets, I am in this race because it matters to me, to this district, and to you.

Not a day goes by that I don't remind myself what this campaign means to this district.

What it means to not be able to afford to live in a neighborhood you've called home for years.

What it means to watch climate change wreak havoc on our communities.

So, I hope you will donate because you know how much this matters and how much this means to the people of this district. Chip in whatever you can today.

Thank you for reading my final appeal this month.

Stay safe,

Christy
