Stop the Execution of Melissa Lucio in Texas
On April 27, Melissa Lucio is scheduled to be executed by the State of Texas for a crime that never occurred. Melissa’s 2-year old daughter, Mariah, died tragically two days after accidentally falling down a flight of stairs. Despite the fact that Melissa had no history of child abuse and that she has maintained her innocence for the 14 years she’s spent on death row, the State still has her scheduled for execution. You can read more about Melissa’s case here, but we also need your support to stop her execution and prevent an irreversible injustice. Will you add your name right now to
stop Texas from killing Melissa or text SAVEMELISSA to 97016?

Charles McCrory is an Innocent Man Incarcerated for Over 35 Years in Alabama
In 1985, Charles McCrory was wrongly convicted of murdering his wife Julie Bonds in their home town of Andalusia, Alabama. When Charles came home to find his wife dead, he called the police and immediately complied with investigators. The only evidence that connected him to the crime was now debunked and recanted “bite mark” evidence from Dr. Richard Souviron. Even after more than 35 years of wrongful incarceration, Charles still maintains that he never committed this crime. Read more about this case, and then share Charles’ story with your network to help spread the word.

Take A Few Seconds to Help Us this Month
Each month, CREDO Mobile picks three progressive nonprofits working to make a positive impact in the world and donates a total of $100,000 between the organizations. They leave it up to you to decide how that money gets split. The more votes an organization gets, the bigger piece of the pie they receive. This month, the Innocence Project is one of the three groups up to receive money — but voting closes at the end of the day today. If you have a minute right now, please vote for the Innocence Project to get a portion of the funding. It will only take a few seconds, and your vote will help us secure funding to protect innocent lives.
