Strengthening Arizona businesses: Kyrsten recently introduced two bills aimed at cutting red tape and simplifying regulatory processes to help Arizona businesses thrive. She’s working to remove unnecessary burdens and increase transparency so Arizona’s hardworking small business owners have the chance to succeed.

Protecting survivors: Kyrsten met with JAGs assigned to the military’s Special Victim Counsel to talk about improving outcomes for survivors of sexual trauma in the military. Kyrsten is also leading the charge for a permanent reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act.

Working toward solutions at our border: While home in Arizona, Kyrsten toured our southern border and met with leaders from Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and key non-governmental organizations to discuss the challenges they face and ways Congress can help solve the migrant crisis.
