Right now Ukrainians are fighting for the same freedom and democracy we enjoy here in the United States. Families are being separated as many bravely pick up weapons to defend the land they love while others flee for safety.
Fr. Bohdan Barytskyy of the Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church is offering us all a chance to show solidarity with Ukraine. I hope you'll join me tomorrow night as we gather on the grounds of the Church for a candlelight vigil.
