Antisemitism at a glance: Sweden
The synagogue in Stockholm and the Jewish community center were defaced with yellow star stickers with the word ‘Jude’ over the weekend - on the 81st anniversary of Kristallnacht. 280 antisemitic crimes were reported in Sweden in 2018, according to official reports, a dramatic 53% increase since 2016. Antisemitism is alive and well, and right at our doorsteps.
