Sorry to bother you, friend, but hours before our midnight public fundraising deadline, I just wanted to reiterate why this goal is so critical: 

James Carville is 100% right. Republicans today are absolutely out of control. From "Jim Crow 2.0" laws to egregious conspiracy theories, they'll do whatever it takes to hold onto power ... and right now, they might be winning. 

They're not playing a fair game. But we are. 

We need serious resources if we're going to come out against the GOP's attacks – which is why it's so, so important we hit this public reporting deadline. But our team just ran the numbers, and we're still $1,855 short of our $25,000 public reporting fundraising goal.

I've HAD it, friend!!

The GOP of today doesn't care about Americans: It just worships at the altar of Donald J. Trump, and it will stop at NOTHING to make sure it satisfies his twisted whims. I mean it – if Republicans sweep 2022's midterms, we can kiss our democracy goodbye.

Don't believe me? Just look at the past 12 months: 

While Democrats are scrambling to protect our country against climate change, Republicans are sticking their heads in the sand – and denying that it even exists ... 

While Democrats focused on a vaccine rollout and a smart pandemic response, top GOP officials spouted polarizing (and deadly) conspiracy theories ...

And while Democrats are set on making our elections safer and more accessible, the GOP introduced over 440 voter suppression bills in 49 states – and in some key states, these "Jim Crow 2.0" bills have PASSED!!

I'm damn near the end of my rope. In all my years as political analyst, I've never seen anything like this. But if these decades in politics have taught me anything, it's that it's not over until it's over – so while Republicans are fundraising up a STORM ahead of 2022's midterms, we're going to need all hands on deck to keep pace. 

That's why I've set a goal to raise $25,000 before tomorrow's end-of-month public reporting deadline to hold the GOP accountable for their bull crap. But we don't have much time left, and we're still $10,347 short. Please, friend, chip in $20 or more today to make sure we don't have to deal with these Republican doofuses any longer!
