DC's June 2022 primaries are coming up fast, and several of DC’s powerful positions will be up for election. This spring, voters will get to decide DC’s next Mayor, Council Chair, Councilmember At-Large, Councilmembers for Wards 1, 3, 5, and 6, Attorney General, Delegate, and Shadow Representative.

DC WFP is looking forward to endorsing people-powered champions in all of these races, and endorsement votes will open this week for WFP members. You are not currently a WFP member. Renew your membership with a monthly donation of $10 or more a month before Wednesday to participate in the upcoming votes:

On Wednesday recommendation votes will open for our endorsements in the races for Mayor, DC Council Chair, and Councilmembers for Ward 1, 5, and 6. The outcomes of these elections will set DC’s course on major policy issues for the next four years or more.

We want to make sure that the candidates who win these seats put people over profit. The DC WFP endorsement is a signal for voters across the District and we want your input on who should get our support.

Become a WFP member with a monthly donation of $10 or more a month before Wednesday to cast your vote in our first round of endorsements. More endorsements will be coming in late March: become a WFP member today and support people-powered candidates up and down the ballot this season.
