The EPA has moved forward with its decision to BAN brain-damaging chlorpyrifos, despite Big Ag’s last-ditch efforts to derail the ban.

As of today, all agricultural uses of chlorpyrifos are prohibited and it is illegal for food to contain any trace of this neurotoxic pesticide. This is a HUGE win, friend, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your help. Thank you!

But this is just the beginning. EWG is fighting to rid our food of all toxic pesticides, including cancer-linked glyphosate and bee-killing neonics. Can you help us formulate our plans to keep fighting for your health?

Big Ag groups have sued the EPA to stop the ban on brain-damaging chlorpyrifos from going into effect on February 28! Chlorpyrifos is a neurotoxic pesticide sprayed on popular produce items that can damage children’s developing brains, even at small doses.

After years of advocacy work and more than 95,000 petition signatures from EWG supporters like you, the EPA finally banned this toxic pesticide last year, and it’s due to go into effect in just 5 days. But now Big Ag is trying to undo our work and put their profits ahead of the public’s health. The American Farm Bureau Foundation and other Big Ag groups have filed a petition in the U.S. Court of Appeals to prevent the ban from going into effect on February 28.

We can’t let them get away with it. Can we count on you to help us formulate our plans? We need 4,782 of our top supporters to weigh in before midnight tonight:
