Governor McKee took office less than a year ago. He was sworn in during a tough moment for our state: we were a year into the pandemic, with children learning virtually, businesses struggling to stay open, and our state moving at a glacial pace to get vaccines out.
Governor McKee has spent his life working for Rhode Islanders. He’s been successful in moving our state forward because he understands how important it is to build relationships with municipal leaders, small business owners, and other community leaders across the state – I have seen him do just that across all of our 39 cities and towns.
