I hope your week is going well! I'm writing because our end-of-month deadline is tonight, and Tom and I need your help if we're going to sustain the momentum we've built so far.

Will you rush $10 or whatever you’re comfortable with today to make sure we hit this critical benchmark toward our February fundraising goal? We’re $2,846 short of our goal. [[link removed]]

Team, before I was elected to serve the great people of Baltimore on the City Council, I spent my career listening to and sharing their stories as a journalist and community advocate. Through these stories, a common thread emerged: Things like affordable housing, health care, paid family leave, equal justice under the law, access to good jobs, and even reliable public transit were reserved for the few, not the many.

It's these stories that inspired me to run for public office, and it's these stories that drive Tom and me to fight for a better Maryland – one that works for the MANY, not the few. A Maryland that strives to uplift all of its communities, ensuring equal access to jobs, justice, and opportunity – regardless of ZIP code.

I would be honored to serve Maryland as Lieutenant Governor, and I can think of no leader better qualified or more dedicated to our cause than Tom. But with the primary as crowded as it is, we can't waste a single moment between now and June if we're going to make it on the general election ballot.
