Earlier this month, I did something really special for Valentine’s Day. I joined with the ‘I Am An Immigrant’ Campaign to spread love and positivity across social media with one special message: #ToImmigrantsWithLove.

This has been a difficult year for all of us. And that’s why sharing messages of support and encouragement to the millions of immigrants — our family members, friends, neighbors, classmates, colleagues, and especially those who have served as essential workers during this pandemic – was more meaningful than ever.

And the response was incredible.



Here’s a quick recap:

• #ToImmigrantsWithLove flooded social media including tweets from celebrities, authors, artists, athletes, and activists like Karan Brar, Tatyana Ali, Phillipa Soo, Hari Kondabolu, Lalah Hathaway, Atima Omara, Rebecca Theodore-Vachon, Mariana Atencio, Santiago Mayer, Felonious Munk, José Olivarez, Michelle MiJung Kim, and Fernanda Kelly.
• Select #ToImmigrantsWithLove tweets were featured on eye-catching billboards across the country — in New York City, Miami, Hollywood, and Washington D.C.
• To Immigrants With Love took over TikTok! Check out videos of ❤️ from ​Carolina Sandoval, Marlene Favela, Maya Abdallah, Samuel Everett, Averie Bishop, and more!
• And people across the country shared THEIR OWN immigrant stories of love and encouragement. You can still share yours here!

The #TheToImmigrantsWithLove campaign uplifts the stories of immigrants in America and helps us show that our country supports and stands with immigrants, no matter what.
