Nothing much shocks me anymore, but when I read the 112 opinion of Obama-appointed ultra-leftist judge, Amit Mehta, my jaw was on the floor.
Before I get to that, let me give you some background on Judge Mehta. He sits on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
India-born Mehta also serves on . . . drumroll please . . . the UNITED STATES FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SURVEILANCE COURT!
That’s the FISA court that approved illegal spying on the Trump Campaign in 2016!
A foreign-born Obama ultra-leftist judge is making decisions on foreign intelligence surveillance!!!!
I can’t make this stuff up.
Now, Mehta’s decision and bold-faced lies and failure to adhere to his sworn oath of office are a reason why I started Judicial Watch in 1994. And it’s a reason why I continue my VITAL work with Freedom Watch which I ask you to support.
In his Mehta’s recent opinion that rejected President Trump’s claim of absolute immunity from lawsuits, Mehta stated that Trump “incited” supporters to attack our Capitol – a completely false statement.
Then this foreign-born Obama ultra-leftist judge TWISTED facts of the day by saying that “five people would die” on January 6th implying they died from the violence of patriots.
Allow me to set this judge straight:
- Airforce veteran and Trump supporter, Ashli Babbitt was murdered in cold blood while unarmed in the Capitol.
- Capitol Hill Police Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes from multiple strokes that day.
- Trump supporter Rosanne Boyland died from an accidental medical overdose.
- Two other older Trump supporters died of heart attacks BEFORE the Capitol “breach”.
The truth is, one person died related to the protests and Ashli Babbitt’s death was absolutely avoidable!
But this is the total bias from hack federal judges like Mehta that I’m facing as I represent January 6th protesters!
And I’ll need your help to offer a FULL LINE defense for these men who are completely innocent of crimes. Their only “crime” in the eyes of the Leftist Media, biased leftist and establishment judges and Democrats is they were supporters of President Trump!
