I just got out of our Monday morning meeting with Tom and the campaign team. This biggest topic of our meeting was the progress to our February grassroots fundraising goal. As it turns out, we need to raise $1,884 before midnight.

Let me explain a bit more about why reaching this goal is so important. We’ve been talking a LOT about how Ryan Zinke has folks like Kevin McCarthy and Donald Trump in his ear, influencing his campaign strategy.

But Zinke *also* has their friends lining his pockets and filling his campaign war chest.

That’s not us. From picking up donations for local unhoused folks here in Missoula, to participating in community meetings across the district, to volunteering his time at charity events, and everything in between; Tom is building this campaign and this movement one voter at a time.

We don’t have the same connections to the types of powerful political figures — we are building our campaign the old-fashioned way, with people talking to people, one grassroots donation at a time from folks like you who truly believe that we can restore faith in our democracy again.
