Yesterday, America added another school shooting to the long list of tragedies that have claimed countless lives in this country. And today, the families and friends of two more children are experiencing a pain too unimaginable to describe.

The Democratic House passed two gun reform bills more than 8 months ago, but Mitch McConnell has refused to even hold a vote on them - killing them in what he calls his "legislative graveyard."

Every day that goes by, Mitch's graveyard in the Senate is creating an actual graveyard that grows larger and larger as he refuses to act - on average, almost 100 Americans are shot and killed each and every day in America.

Mitch didn't even bother to tweet out his thoughts and prayers this time. Instead, as police were still looking for the shooter, Republicans were literally at the exact same time blocking background checks from being voted on in the Senate. Really! You can't make this stuff up.

It's no secret why Mitch won't allow a vote on the bills that the House has passed: According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Mitch McConnell has taken $1,261,874 in blood money from the NRA.

If we want to finally pass gun reform - any gun reform - and stop these senseless killings, we need Mitch McConnell out of the Senate. Luckily, he's up for reelection in 2020, and we are building a grassroots movement to defeat him and send him packing once and for all.
