And as we know from recent data out of Colorado, young people are increasing their use of high potency concentrates such as vapes and dabs at an alarming rate. What's more, a recent study found marijuana use in youth rising when comparing a legal state with an illegal one.
Last year in Virginia, when the recreational marijuana bill passed, they counted us out. But we never stopped fighting. This year, we killed the bill which was required to allow sales to move forward. Now commercialization is dead for 2022!

In South Dakota, we helped lead the anti-recreational marijuana ballot committee in 2020. When the ballot passed, we didn't give up. Through a court battle and ensuing legislative fight this year, we have continued to advise and advocate for public health in the state. The ballot measure was defeated in court, today we defeated the bill in the legislature. Now, commercialization is dead for 2022!
