Hi there,

At a round table earlier this year, a woman with multiple sclerosis told me that her life-saving medications can cost more than $85,000 a year. A father and daughter shared with me how they struggle to afford diabetes medicine that’s been on the market for quite some time now.

We hear stories of the incredible financial strain families face due to the unaffordable costs of prescription drugs in our country all too often. One thing is clear: we MUST take action to lower the costs of prescription drugs.

That’s why the House is focused on passing H.R. 3 to lower costs of life-saving prescription medication, but partisan politics and corporate greed are standing in the way of passing this piece of legislation.

Today I’m asking you personally to add your name with mine to call on all of our leaders in Congress to work in a bipartisan way to lower Rx drug costs. Will you take action and sign the petition now? ([link removed])

Thanks for standing with me.

Best,
Chris
