Dear Patriot,

It’s not everyday when your Office has an opportunity to lead an argument at the U.S. Supreme Court on one of the most important questions facing our republic.

Who gets to
DECIDE the major questions of the day? Congress, and the people’s representatives, or an unelected bureaucracy?

In today’s case, the unelected bureaucracy is the EPA and how much authority that agency possesses to regulate carbon emissions. But tomorrow, there may be another rogue federal agency at work expanding federal overreach in some way.

We need clarity from the court on this critical separation of powers case.

This morning, I go into the Supreme Court, where my team will lead arguments in the West Virginia v. EPA case. For your review, I am attaching an
Op-Ed recently published by Fox News and a news clip from this morning which provides additional background on the case.

Enjoy this article and wish us luck. Much at stake today-we will do our best to defend America and make you proud!

Sincerely,

Patrick Morrisey
West Virginia Attorney General
