under-recognized public health crisis in the United States. It's also

this nation $355 billion, a number that could rise to $1.1 trillion by
2050. More than 11 million Americans provide unpaid dementia care
- and, it's estimated, pay twice as much out-of-pocket for
health and personal care, household expenses and other costs as
non-dementia caregivers.
