The difference between winning and losing:

John,

Next Monday, the Senate will finally vote on the Women’s Health Protection Act — our bill to codify Roe v. Wade and protect reproductive justice.

With an unreliable ultra-conservative Supreme Court that could overturn Roe for good, Congressional action has never been more important.

My colleagues and I in the House did our part to defend reproductive rights and with your assistance, we’ve been calling on the Senate to do theirs ever since.

Even though our job’s not done yet, we could never have gotten this far without defending our House majority in 2020.

Because a Republican House would have followed the blueprint created by GOP-led legislatures in states like Texas and Mississippi: passing dangerous and restrictive abortion bans that target people of color and low-income people.

That’s the difference between winning and losing, so I mean it when I say it’ll take all of us to defend the progress we’ve already made and continue building a more equitable future.

Will you make a donation to my re-election campaign so my team can do our part to advance our Democratic values and keep Republicans out of power this year? I’d be so grateful for any amount you’re able to give today.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thank you. We can’t return to an era before Roe, and I’ll do everything in my power to defend reproductive justice for all.

In solidarity,

Barbara Lee
